I finally got to posting a few pictures from my last trip in the sawtooth mountains in Idaho. I went cross-country skiing a few times, did my first trip to Redfish lake, 10ºf at start and 25º at the end. I saw two birds and no people. But the beautiful sleepy frozen lake was like a big frozen story!! I know so much about her and my family has so much history with her but to see her frozen was so beautiful. Then she spoke to me with a loud crack it scared the crap out of me. I will visit her at winter more often.
It’s a wonder during winter I almost rather not post pictures so as not to promote its magic.

I have fun with all the filters and things you can do with the iPhone. It seems everyone is a photographer these days with the smart phones. Days of film, Leibovitz, Cartier Bresson, Ansel Adams, are gone and days of filters, editing, Instagram and how many likes you get are here. But I’m a part of it…. So here are a few of my favorites.
